So here's the skinny. In the article I have linked it says that Obama's compromise is doing the following:

"Speaking to reporters at the White House Friday, Obama offered a compromise that would allow women to obtain free contraception but would require them to obtain it directly from their insurance companies if their employers object to birth control because of religious beliefs."

Now what is the problem you say, well first and foremost the contraceptives are STILL being given out like complimentary water cups at McDonalds. He says the Catholic companies do not have to give out contraceptives anymore but the insurance companies do, as if nuns are at the church doorstep giving them away. The problem is, mr. president, that the Catholic companies PAY for the insurance, and therefore are paying for the contraceptives. This is not a compromise but an increase in federal mandates! The Obama administration has now required everyone to obtain 'free' contraceptives. Before, I assume, we would pay for them. Now they are free, oh great! What a great gift you have given us. More liberty swiped from the conscience of millions of US citizens, religious freedom - gone, personal freedom - gone, we have to buy insurance, we have to have that pay for contraceptives. What options do we have as citizens? Please give me one option, anything? There is none, there are no exemptions. If you are a Catholic who is a business owner for a non-catholic business, like McDonalds then you still are paying for insurance that covers that in its policy.

To even further this point, I have to say, that back when Obamacare was passed, Obama claimed over and over again that he was going to reduce the cost of healthcare and that he was going to make sure healthcare was better. Now everyone must be insured, increasing the pool, but also increasing the cost of each company to carry preexisting conditions, and now increasing what things must be in these healthcare plans. Contraceptives MUST be free so therefore the cost gets passed to the consumer. We all now pay for contraceptives, not just the company paying for us, but every citizen pays for contraceptives.

When will it all end? When will this madness end and when will freedom and free markets reign again in America. We need to rally, and rally behind the one true conservative left in the race!

Vote for Rick Santorum, and help fight and reverse the direction of the current administration.

Bachmann: Iowa Chaos

So the new presidential election cycle is upon us for the 2012 general election. As the candidates debate, campaign, and generally fight it out, it has become clear to myself, as well as I hope other conservatives, there is but one solid candidate.

Michele Bachmann has withstood the Iowa chaos without a scathing story or inconsistent message, and is the only conservative who has had a clear message of conservatism. Throughout the debates many things have come out, from Mitt Romney's many issues with stateism and big handed government initiatives (Romneycare), Ron Paul's destruction of American military and foreign standing (what would be a continuing of the Obama apologies tour), particularly his 9/11 stance, Newt Gingrich's flip flopping and global warming pushes (with Nancy Pelosi), who else is there to lead the Republican's to victory against Obama in November? Bachmann has consistently improved over each debate, particularly the last debate which she won, in my humble opinion. Her dedication to a solid fight to ending Obamacare, to slashing the budget and lowering the debt, to ending government interaction in our everyday lives. This is the message we need to win in November! Its clear Obama's jobs record will be an easy thing to pin on him, however, the record of the candidates over the past 4 years in congress would be easily debated by Bachmann who has not supported liberal government takeovers. The Obama drones will also claim the republicans are responsible for part of the debt but Michele has debated all those budget increases, particularly tarp. There is but one person who has truly led a conservative-oriented life both in the public and private sector and that is Michele Bachmann.

Vote for Michele Iowa, and the rest of the nation!

Healthcare or Hellcare?

It has become clear to most of America that socialized medicine is the worst option possible and the current system is much, much better than what the Dems have planned. Some Dems have sunken so low to call it a "moral obligation" to pass socialized medicine, this is not the case. In the moral grounds of health care, hospitals have to provide emergency care to any patient, regardless of whether or not they have insurance. So where does morality come in? Well in just the opposite way then what they claim. First, the immorality of the bill is that it will provide for coverage on abortions, simply because it does not address abortions means it does not outlaw them. So how does that moral standing feel now? Secondly, death panels are in existence and so a lovely set of people, who do not know your, your circumstances, religion, family, or anything about you other than your current medically assumed state will decide when you die, how comforting. So there are not "dignified" deaths, as they call them, because the death is predetermined and is made "easier" by doping up the patient. I guess doping now is dignified? Since when is this the case? This is simply a legalized Woodstock 60s death. How dignified and comforting, how wonderful.

In many cases you've heard, patients who even could have been saved and had a more prolonged life, socialized medicine, even in our own USA in Oregon, have been denied essential care for dope. The "big bad pharmaceutical company came to the rescue in one woman's case and gave her the medicine, socialized care wouldn't provide, for free. This is the absurdity of socialized care. So it looks like the "elected elite" also known as the aristocracy in the feudal system are trying to create just that, a feudal system of care and of government. Ask all the congressmen who are planning on voting for this bill whether or not they will take the care or will they purchase their own care, and 99% of them, if they're not lying, will buy their own. So the crowning elite will have their own bene's while you and I will be bought out by cheaper, less inclusive care that tells you when you get to die, not when you are going to die.

Lastly, people mention Japan as a "viable" option for care. There are many problems with this option but I will briefly describe a few of them. First, Japan is the exception not the rule for care and in the majority of cases it doesn't work. Secondly, inflation in cost of living in Japan is astronomical. Most of their living is done in small 500 sq ft. apartments, with barely enough room for a standing shower. Is this freedom? Is this liberty? Is this prosperity? Moreover, Japan has the highest corporate tax rates. Low production of new businesses in Japan, coupled with a very strict governmental law on jobs and type of jobs you can have does not = the freedom we so enjoy in America. Lastly, the public school teachers earn on average 1600 a month if it's their first year, whereas, in the US it varies but in this area of the world, teachers make closer to 2000 a month or more in this area.

P.S. I know this is a post on health care but I must say that the President addressing the kids and attaching lesson plans to "adore" the president the 1st day of school is ludicrous and for anyone who has actually been in the classroom before, the 1st day is not the day to be teaching a random socialist lesson, on a socialist speech given by the nations top sponsor of socialism.

Too Little Too Late?

As the Cap and Tax bill squeaked through the house by a small 8 vote majority 211-219, it now sits at the feet of the senators to pass. As shameful as the 3am addition of 300 pages of amendments by Democrats to the bill, is the suppression of a report by the EPA that discredits the science behind the claims that carbon emissions lead to a warmer planet. This study even has found that there are more carbon emissions right now, and yet the planet has stayed the same temperature or gotten cooler! Gotten cooler? Does that mean we'll go back to the global cooling phenomenon, possibly. The Dumbocrats have too much vested interest in keeping their supporters' pockets filled with federal tax dollars to do otherwise, to do the right thing.

Now if across the globe scientists are proving this silly theory wrong, and the Federal Government agency the EPA is suppressing this information for its own personal agenda, what does that say about the bias and "fairness" of that agency? This is a totally absurd agency, that's what it tells you! Furthermore, they should be taken apart! There is no reason we should have a government agency that has the primary function of adding tax increases to the American people via their "reports". All of their previous reports should now be called into question and should be reviewed for accuracy and suppression of material contrary to the reports findings. The Republican leadership needs to get into shape and do something collective, and reviewing these past reports would be a great first step in winning back America. Thanks to Senator Inhofe, something of a crusade is happening about this report. The timing could not be more interesting. Is it too late? Once it got past the house, is it too late for the overwhelming majority of the Senate to stop this runaway train? Lets hope not! Lets hope that all this hard work was not in vein and lets hope that Mr. Carlin's report, brings further light to corruption and greed, present in the EPA and Obama administration. As Mark Levin would say in his book, the enviro-statists are out to take away your Liberty! Stand up and do something about, or suffer the consequences of your silence!

What's Next?

In the British, "universal" system, all people are provided health care...to an extent. Can the government be charged with child pornography then, because the obvious conclusion of 12 year olds possessing contraception is in fact sex. So they are aiding and abetting in juvenile misconduct and sexuality and nudity. Is that a crime? I would say so, and the future of these children looks bleak, now that they are used to having sex at will and with whomever. Who says they won't go for a nostalgic romp in the forest when they are just a few years older?

This is a sad statement about the social bearings of Britain and of the whole as a whole. The shame that comes with committing some crimes is lost and the sexual battle is all but being lost in a legal sense. Now I am just waiting for the first country/state to pass a law allowing sexual conduct from 12 years old or higher and legalizing that for all persons. How long will it take for that law to pass? How long after that law is passed will it take form them to again lower the age from 12 to who knows? maybe 8? This is a sad and sick statement about the morality of the world. Sodom and Gomorrah here we come!

Will someone have the guts to stand up and fight against this? Who has the gusto? Well, besides me that is?

Who Defines Offensive?

Never before have I seen such an utter disrespect for our country and for the way we live here. I could not even imagine being in the same position the woman was in because I think I would have started throwing stuff to let out my anger. How can the AMERICAN FLAG be offensive in AMERICA? This is appalling! Now what should happen to this situation?

The people said she could put the flag back up...that's nice, but not enough! What should she do? First the lady needs to be apologized to and perhaps get a promotion. I'm not one for off the wall judicial justice, because I believe these problems should be solved locally, but had she not been allowed to put it back up, I say it's restricting her constitutional freedom and should be a court matter. She is a patriot and should be commended! I think most people don't have the full feeling of what it takes to be a true American and love this country, they just take it for granted. I want to take a shot at a thesis on the reason why...

Since 1945, there has not been a war that has been supported by the US citizens. One of the biggest causes of that, is the media that is looking for a quick controversy and sell rather than reporting the facts. The media has driven the average joe by corrupting his/her image of the American military, American actions, and American foreign policy over the past 60 years and change. The unrestrained images of Vietnam, and the lack of concern or care for America has caused the people to dislike their own country in some ways. Americans are giving themselves bad press? The biggest crime in the world, is the premise the current congress and president operate on, one of arrogance. It is simple to see and explain to people the government does not care about you but rather is serving its own interests and projects. The people of America today have spoken out and have stood their ground in these tea parties to state one specific fact, the TAX money is OUR money, not yours Washington!

The absurdity of the current Obama budget proposals need to be stopped, socialism is the philosophy being practiced in this administration and these individuals have forgotten how we came to be as a nation and what system of government we currently have. If they, however, disagree with democracy and prefer socialist entitlement programs then they should take a trip down to Cuba or Venezuela for a lesson in socialism 101, and see how it doesn't work. We as Americans have chosen to stand up today to fight for tax freedom and to fight against tax burdens. The misguided left has held up the "great society" and the "new deal" as the model of good governance, when in fact all these programs did was bankrupt the future and cause the country to become more and more handicapped by entitlements thus increasing the burden for taxpayers. Each and every day we exist under this administration, they attempt to snuff us out, to the eliminate the conservative voice and the responsible governments voice.

I was very proud to stand in the cold rain today for two hours to rally for an end to this tyranny, and to bring back true American Federalism. I strongly encourage every American to get out today for their tea party and to continue and persevere in the fight against 'big brother' and to bring back American values and government to the Americans who so richly deserve it. The government is created to protect us and not the other way around. Obama will stop at nothing to create a feudalistic state of socialism here where the people are responsible to the government for everything and where the government has full control. I say let the individual rise to the occasion and become the voice and granter of his/her own freedoms and let our God given rights stand once again as the exact thing we are here to protect. You are not entitled to any retirement gifts and a life of leisure once you hit 65. You are only entitled to the rights God has given you, life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Anything besides those things and the rights established in the constitution are not rights at all, but in a free society they do remain options for the individual to consider. God bless you all.

Too Scary Not to Write

Possibly some of the scariest rhetoric used by Obama as quoted here in this article, "We are four days away from changing the United States of America". Now you might say to yourself, this is the typical message throughout the campaign, but look closely at the words, "changing the United States of America" not change in government but Obama wants to change the total fabric of America, what we stand for, what we're built upon, what we have created here. We do not need a fundamental change in America, we need a change in leadership to shake up Washington but we do not need to change America. We cannot let Obama change us as a country and in our essence, we are Americans, of a democratic-republic, we are not and never shall we become a socialist state and we do not need to change America. This is frightening, we could see wide-spread changes that would create a socialist state and would develop a country who is more of a parent than a governing body.

I am forced to say that this election year will be close because of the lack of vision of many voters, but I plead all voters now to take a look at what policies will have a lasting effect and could as Obama says, "change America". We cannot afford to fall down at our post as citizens and we need to go out and vote for policies with posterity in mind. We have an obligation to vote and to be educated citizens when we vote. I challenge everyone out there to go out and learn the policies and records of each candidate and then establish your knowledge of their plans with posterity in mind and then we will truly have an election of "change" when all Americans educate themselves before they step into the booth.

God bless the candidates and the voters as we close this election season!

What has the world come to? Misunderstanding the Constitution

Well it seems to me that the California supreme court wants to act as a separate court of a foreign country, because they seem to want to get rid of a few civil rights guaranteed in the Constitution. Not only is this disturbing but this is also a direct jab at the 1st amendment right, freedom of religion. Religion goes into the public life but does not force others to do things they'd rather not do, whereas this bill is forcing the liberal left's idealism down Christian throats. The left needs and wants gays and lesbians to be fully inculcated into society and to be seen as normal, when their very act of "sexuality" is not normal and is contrary to their makers ideas when designed and formed in the womb. With this case, the liberals of California now are moving towards total radicialism, first, freedom of forcing others to do stuff liberals want, then animals are now humans, I'm still waiting for that Amendment or declaration to be added by some judge legislating from the bench. Lastly, we will have global warming coking our economy like it is now so that if we do not buy hippie cars and bike or walk to work we will be paying dearly for it.

This case is so anti-US constitution that it is absurd, doctors who have "private" practice, notice that word in quotes California, should and cannot be made to do something against their religious beliefs . Freedom of religion is a basic right. Our constitutional rights need to be understood in a way that they were meant to be held. The judicial system was not supposed to be that big and was not at all supposed to legislate from the bench, it was a check on constitutionality, not a creator of policy but a check on the legitimacy of it, in accord with the constitution. The constitution is what the justices were supposed to go on, not the change of it to take away rights, so the CA supreme court has faulted, just on that principle.

The biggest mistake of this whole matter is the fact that they define invetro fertilization as medical CARE, it is not care if someone is not hurt. The mother is not hurt and therefore is not in need of CARE but rather they want something done to them, like a tattoo. Do tattoo artists, although perhaps not the most scrupulous, refuse to ink someone because of what or where they want it. This is a service and a private service has the right to refuse anyone service, because it is not a right to being "served" it's a right to live in freedom. The right asserted by the supreme court of this particular case was to recieve medical care, which is well known that is it not care. I'm waiting for the doctor to be sued for not giving a girl plastic surgery for whatever reason. Doctors are not state appointed emmisaries but medical care facilitators. You want someone to do something for you that is against their belief then how about the person who wants the procedure get baptized and go to church for the rest of their life and pray 1 hour every day, because the supreme court said you needed to go.

Simply put, this is a sad case that takes away Constitutional rights, in a way which the Constitution does not approve, and ignores the fact that this is not a medicial care, or ememergency care, but a service, which can be denied.

<link rel='related' href='http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,405801,00.html' title='What has the world come to? On the other hand, the 2nd pizza store clerk I'm not so sure was very wise in her actions. The male clerk is a hero and the owner should definitely give him a raise and do whatever to keep him working there. When an employee takes to heart the place in which he works that much, he should be rewarded and if I were the owner I would do so much to keep that employee.

Now on to the actual event, there were four American citizens involved in stopping this armed robber from getting what he wanted and instead getting justice! All four of the people involved are heros, with the beginning and bravest actions coming from the store clerk himself. This is the way Americans should act and how the justice system can be fully carried out, citizen action. When citizens take it upon themselves to help with law enforcement, not necessarily becoming cops or trying to take justice into their own hands, but rather collectivly working to solve an issue/crime. The people who followed the wouldbe-robber did their part, as did the clerk and the witness who ran after the man. The second clerk however, what was she thinking? Why did she retrain the other clerk from knocking the robber out fully and giving him something to remember him by as well? I am sure the male clerk would have tied up the man after beating him senseless and then there would have been no need for a chase.

Lastly, I would just like to call to your mind the incident that happened a few years ago when another store employee, somewhere in the U.S., fought back against robbers and was then fired by his company for not "following proper procedure" . Well to those managers/owners, get a clue! What if your employee was giving out money for no reason, ok fire him for that, but not for saving your company and its investments. I hope the same doesn't happen to this great pizza store clerk, cheers and I wish you the best clerk, you are a true American and a hero for your town/company.
Here's two slices of cheese for you!

Drill off Florida Coast/Naturists say No?

Let me start by saying that as Americans in the early history of our country, we were a nation on innovations and inventions, adaptations and improvements. Our founding generations (1770-1810) gave us the ability to freely govern ourselves in a no restrictive way. As the founders had planned, our laws were established based upon the assumption of a virtue driven society. The founding generation had a great idea of what it meant to be a good person and a solid American and virtue became intertwined with our government.

Since the 1970s, however, the liberal tree-hugging left have infringed upon our freedom in various ways, in an attempt to change America and Americans into something they are not, something different. Liberal politicians and judges tried to legislate morality in a different way, not built upon virtues of old. The leftist virtue became a new phenomenon and the so called values became imposed upon the world through various means i.e. the media, schooling, public service announcements, etc.. The left is trying to take over, in fact, a conservative virtue that was created by one of the greatest Presidents of our short history, Theodore Roosevelt! Roosevelt set aside more land than any American President in history and established various public parks associations and wildlife refuges.

The left has tried to kidnap Teddy's grand vision. Arbor day used to be a day to adore nature and it's natural beauty, it has now been perverted into a "set off carbon emissions" and create clean air and atmosphere day, which in no way calls for people to celebrate nature, but rather curse those who are purportedly abusing nature by using the American innovations such as TVs, or cars, or anything that might have the chance of emitting carbon. The leftists will not be satisfied until we are living in caves and using only direct human energy to do anything, they are trying to push us backwards in time, away from innovation and creation. Yes, and now we have turned against American ideas and thought and American nature as history has laid out, all because of the leftist of these few past generations have kidnapped virtue.

Drilling off the coast of Florida is the innovative and smart thing to do, no matter how long it will take to do it. The main argument against this drilling is that we do not want to upset the environment of a delicate marine life. This generality presupposes that conservatives for drilling have no qualms with destroying nature as she stands today, but this could not be further from the truth. We do not want to destroy or de-beautify the earth in any way, and when we drill, because we'll win this battle as gas prices rise, we will take caution in keeping the ocean environment safe and without damage. God, who gave us this earth to use as our help in life, "take the earth and subdue it" and "you have dominion over all the earth, the birds of the air the fish of the sea and all the animals of the land and creeping things" and so we need to utilize our gift now, more than ever. Drilling is a step towards reestablishing American innovation and adaptation, so is nuclear energy but that is a whole other blog. We need now, more than ever to reinvigorate our true American virtues of innovation and adaptation and start drilling in our own land, and also begin searching for innovative means to alternative energy. Floridians and people all across the United States need to contact their representatives and tell them they need to push for offshore drilling! Let us innovate, because without innovation America will not know herself, she will be disabled to a point of collapse.
